Logo
A leaf with a seed
The mark is a laurel leaf with a moss seed. Put the green mark on light backgrounds and the light mark on dark ones. Keep clear space of at least two seed widths on every side. The mark works down to 16 pixels; the lockup needs 120 pixels of width. Do not recolour it, rotate it, outline it or add effects.

Colour
Stone, ink and one green
Pages are moon grey, cards are marble, type is ash. Green is the one accent. Moss is for rules, marks and focus, never for body text. Green is never a large background slab. Colours as CSS.

Type
Three system faces and one inscription
Text uses the reader's own system faces. The one exception is Classical Foragers, our emboldened cut of Marcellus SC: flared Roman small capitals in the manner of carved inscriptions, drawn to the weight of the bold headlines. Texture
Laurel pressed into stone

Banners and link previews
Each comes at its native size and at double size for sharp screens. The profile banner keeps its text to the right, because a profile photo covers the lower left.
Voice
- We write as "we". Plain declarative sentences, in the second person to the reader.
- State the rule, then how it works, then what ignoring it costs.
- Numbers are welcome when they are measured. Say what was measured and over what period.
- No hype marketing: no airdrops, points farming, KOL packages or engagement farming, and no copy written for them.
- No claim about privacy or security that is not true in the code.
- No dashes as punctuation. Use a comma, a colon or a new sentence.

- Foragers works with teams building distributed systems, privacy and cryptography who have shipped serious technology but cannot yet name their buyer in one sentence. The work starts with a one week paid diagnostic that ends in an initial plan, then runs as milestones with written acceptance criteria and a price agreed before anything starts. We run at most three engagements at a time. The name comes from optimal foraging theory: know when a market has stopped paying, and move.
